Here we go again, It`s sunday time for something special. Today I will post the first of two parts from pictures which Otmar Hadaiaer took during a visit to Longues sur Mer. Quite a few interesting objects, so see for yousrself and have fun with those pictures.
From my own collection comes another unknown aircraft. This time something really wild. A single engined aircraft which was heavier, faster and larger than a B-25 Mitchell! So I think it`s no wonder when I will ask "big is beautiful?" See for yourself. Keep on modeling and keep on coming back , René Hieronymus |

Today I continue as promised with a very interesting travelreport. Otmar Hadaier had the chance to take quite a few photos during an open house day of a hungarian missile regiment. Here is part I. Tomorrow I will post the second and final part.
Additional I take the chance to post another of those wonderful aircrafts which were tested during the closing days of WWII and the eraly 50's. This one is pretty interesting not only because of it`s idea of combining 2 different engines in a what seemed to be a single engined aircraft but also due to the fact that this particular aircraft was "the last ditch for Curtiss". Take a look at it and see for yourself what I mean by this. Keep on modling, René Hieronymus |
